GeraldSet right before the events of A New Hope, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will be the first title that stands alone by itself as an origin story. With Disney nuking pretty much everything that was fan-made, it only made sense to tap onto the franchise to help satiate fan’s appetite before Star Wars Episode VIII.
Not much is revealed except that Felicity Jones will play as Jyn Erso who seems to have plenty to prove with the Rebel Alliance by undertaking the mission to steal the plans for the Galactic Empire’s new weapon, the Death Star. But we all know how that turned out.
