TGS 2017: Scenes from the Tokyo Game Show

This year’s Tokyo Game Show was Geek Culture’s second, and it featured a total of 609 exhibitors (317 foreign companies). Across the 4 days from 21 to 24 Sep, 254,311 visitors hit the halls, filled with 1,317 game titles on display, of which VR (Virtual Reality) titles took up 117.

Once again, Capcom and PlayStation’s booths stood out for us. Similar to E3 2017, Capcom had a different giant monster for photo ops, and this time complete with a pair of monster hunters. PlayStation had a dazzling display window, showcasing models posing as androids on display, enticing visitors to “buy one”. The models were so on point with their movements and expressions that most people thought they were mannequins on first look!

Here are some scenes from the show floor from across the two business days (21 and 22 September), from the impressive game booths, to the delicious booth babes. While you’re at it, don’t forget to also check out our TGS 2017 coverage here.
