South-East Asia Major 2014 happening this weekend!

Fighting game geeks, take note! South East Asia Major 2014 (SEAM2014), the premier fighting game tournament in the region, is back for it’s 4th outing this coming weekend.

Held at Alienware Arena in Lucky Chinatown, Singapore, from 20-22 June, SEAM2014 features popular fighting games by Capcom, Namco Bandai, and Arc System Works, who are officially supporting the event for the first time in it’s history.

List of Featured Games

Headlining the event will be the newly-released Ultra Street Fighter IV. As part of the Capcom Pro Tour, the champion will be flown to the Capcom Cup World Finals held at San Francisco later this year in December.

Aside from USFIV, the following games will also be part of the SEAM2014 lineup.

Blazblue: Chrono Phantasma
Tekken Tag Tournament 2
Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3
The King of Fighters XIII
Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft

World-Class Players and Guests

Many top players and special guests from around the world will be in attendance at SEAM2014. Here is just a sampling of the big names in the fighting game community who will be gracing the event:

More fantastic players from Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines will be taking part in the individual tournaments for the 6 featured games at SEAM2014!

Other Activities and Attractions

All participants will receive codes for Hearthstone Card Packs, as well as various other door gifts and be eligible for additional give-aways throughout the event. Free-play stations for casual and practice purposes will also be set up in the event area, alongside a Red Bull Lounge.

As a special treat for fans of Blazblue and Guilty Gear, a Arc System Works merchandise booth with rare collectibles for sale will be open to the public!
