Arriving in 2017, the Playmobil and Ghostbusters tie up looks to represent the future. Depending on where you grew up, Playmobil might not be as popular as other toy brands in your market. At least in my own experience, it had hardly made an impact in my growing up years.
Strategically, it looks like much is riding on the success of the 2016 film which features a brand new cast of Ghostbusters. There are 30 playsets planned for release from the summer of 2017 so you might want to start saving up for the future.
If LEGO represents the past of Ghostbusters with their recent releases, Playmobil casts its lot in the future.
Gerald currently straddles between his love of video games and board gaming. There’s nothing that interests him more than trying out the newest and fanciest gadget in town as well. He dreams of publishing a board game sometime in the future!
