Marvel’s Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. Launches in Singapore October 2016

Geeks in Singapore have been enjoying nothing short of awesome over the recent years, with the large scale Star Wars: The Force Awakens setups, to the landing of the ANA R2-D2 Jet, the arrival of Captain America: Civil War Blue Carpet event, and the more recent Ghostbusters Red Carpet event.

In the upcoming October, Victory Hill Exhibitions and the Science Centre Singapore will be bringing in Marvel’s Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. (Scientific Training And Tactical Intelligence Operative Network) exhibition for the FIRST time in Southeast Asia. The Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. exhibit was originally launched in New York City in 2014, and had since gone to Seoul in 2015, Paris in April 2016, and is launching this month in Las Vegas. Sydney, Australia will be the 6th city to showcase the exhibit this December. The organiser promises each subsequent one to be bigger and better. Singapore’s exhibit is expected to trump the Paris one, and from what we know, it will be updated with quite a number of new exhibits, including the Ant-Man.

What to expect at the Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N.

The Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. is a multi-sensorial immersive experience. This narrative driven exhibition is set within the high tech environment of The Avengers training facility and features original sets, props, costumes, interactive stations and special effects, set to draw visitors deep into the world of The Avengers. For the first time, audiences will get to explore the origins of their favourite characters and the discover the science behind our favourite super heroes.

Visitors are inducted as recruits upon entry, and will get to experience the Avengers’ universe by carrying out detailed examinations of the history, genetics, technology and personal profiles of the various Avengers team members including Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye and Ant-Man. After completing the various interactive segments and getting assessed, the probationary recruits will graduate to an Active S.T.A.T.I.O.N. Agent.

Admission charges are not officially announced yet, but judging from how much it was charged in Paris – 21,99 € (S$33.50), we’re predicting to hover around the S$20 – S$30+ price range per adult.
