Update: The suggested retail prices of all editions of God of War in Singapore have been revealed, and they are as follows: Blu-ray Disc Standard Edition (S$72.90), Blu-ray Collectors’ Edition (S$184.90), Digital Standard Edition ($64.90), and Digital Deluxe Edition (S$78.90).

Amidst all the potential leaks and retailer listings, we finally have confirmation of the release date for one of the PlayStation 4’s marquee titles in 2018.

God of War will be available this coming April 20.

Announced on the PlayStation Blog, together with a new Story Trailer (above), Santa Monica Studios’ creative director Cory Barlog talks more about the journey of making the game as well as thanking fans for the continued support.

More importantly, we got more information about the “Limited Collector’s Editions and Digital Deluxe Edition, whose every component is connected back to the Norse universe and story of our game.”

Pre-Order Offers

Pre-ordering any edition of God of War will entitle you to these three legendary shield skins for “Kratos to bash and defend against all manner of creatures we created in the brutal Norse wilds.”

There will also be the GameStop/EB Games exclusive pre-order bonus of Luck of Ages XP Boost, which grants +10 Luck and has 1 Enchantment Slot.

Luck will give you increased XP gain, increased Hacksilver gain, and increase the ability to trigger Perks. Gamers in Asia will certainly get something akin to this bonus with local retailers.
