Combining robots might have been the universal dream for all boys (and some girls growing up) and seeing how popular they are right to this very day shows that some things just don’t go out of style.
Gone would be the poor animation of yesteryear and in with the new. While the new Voltron: Legendary Defender certainly looks good, we are in an era where cartoons and anime have actually decent storylines as compared to the past.
While we might look at Voltron fondly with nostalgia tinted lenses, it remains to be seen how far Netflix will be able to take this.
