GeraldAs the title states, that’s what Evolve appears to be right now. New IPs are always good even if they are derivative and when they are made by the original creators of Left 4 Dead, Turtle Rock Studios, expectations will be running high.
In Evolve, there will be no single player campaign; it would be pure 4v1 goodness where one player controls the Goliath (think Tank) and the rest controlling the survivors. The cool thing would be that both sides would be to evolve in terms of how they choose to take on each other. Details are pretty sketchy right now and I think it would be best for you to check out the Evolve video instead.
And, seriously, what’s the big deal over giving Game Informer exclusive access. I just LOVE to see their watermark plastered all over this site.
