Celebrate Santa’s All-Star Christmas At Universal Studios Singapore

Christmas has always been a Western celebration, and while we might think that the lights along Orchard Road is the norm for this annual holiday season, the folks at Universal Studios Singapore (USS) are saying otherwise.

From December 1 to January 2nd, Santa’s All-Star Christmas is bringing snow, pyrotechnics, beautiful light displays, and new musical numbers and performances to the theme park!

The streets of USS have been adorned with festive lights, transforming the sights you might be used to, into a dazzling display this Christmas. Make your way to the various attractions and be surprised by falling snow, and maybe even a performance or two.

The main attraction of Santa’s All-Star Christmas is Universal Journey, a Guinness World Record breaking collection of lights (824,961 to be exact) that will whisk you away for a Christmas adventure! Filled with gorgeous trees, a brightly decorated little town, and huge Christmas presents, this highly detailed installation took over two months to complete.

There’s also Santa’s Village, a picturesque location with larger-than-life characters that adds to the festive charm, and spices up your photo-ops. Santa’s elves, old St. Nick himself, even Mrs Claus are all about, waiting to share the magic of Christmas with you. Our favourite has to be the cheeky Gingerbread man, because he is just one cute and cuddly bundle of joy!

Rounding out the festive additions is a new production, Bah Humbug! A Christmas Spectacular at the Pantages Hollywood Theatre. Featuring a 17-strong all-star cast of characters, be amazed and delighted by the appearances of the Minions, the Snow Queen, and the Sesame Street gang! Directed by the grouchiest of characters, Ebenezer Scrooge, here’s hoping that the Ghost Of Future Past has already paid him a visit.

There are also special musical performances around the park, and visitors can catch DJ Eddy Elf’s Christmas Radio Station, or watch Marilyn Monroe and Betty Boop as they bring a touch of glamour to the night, at the New York Public Library.

So what else are you waiting for? Park hours have also been extended to 9 pm every night, to accommodate the crowds, so you get to enjoy the exhilarating rides and attractions till late! If you are planning to head down to Universal Studios Singapore this Christmas, do get your tickets early.

Available at S$74 (adult), S$56 (child), and S$36 (senior), there’s also an after 5pm family bundle at S$134 that includes admission for two adults, one child, as well as retail and dining vouchers! You can find out more here.
