Following the earlier news on an upcoming Adidas x Dragon Ball Z Sneaker Collection slated for Fall 2018, images about the impending collaboration have made their way to social media.
It turns out that the first two characters from the old anime classic to make an appearance are Frieza and Cell. According to an Instagram post by whatdropsnext, the Adidas Yung-1 will feature Frieza-inspired elements, with a purple-and-white colour scheme to reflect the villain’s influence.
Meanwhile, the Adidas Prophere takes on a more lively approach, sporting a patterned green body, alongside purple accents, and a slight hint of dark blue – an accurate nod to Cell’s signature colours.
Other shoe designs based on the characters Mr Popo, Yajirobe, Tenshinhan, and Mr Satan are said to be in the pipeline, so fans can look forward to more content to come!
